Katherine has been busy the past several months settling her mother’s estate, spending quality time with her family, and volunteering as a therapy team with Quill, her Sheepadoodle. This summer she set up a “Neighborhood Puzzle House.” Think of a “Neighborhood Little Library” but filled with jigsaw puzzles. A special shoutout to our client, E2, Katherine’s puzzle supplier.
Eric has taken a break from BBQ Competitions and instead has been helping his entire family move. His youngest son has settled into Downtown Seattle where he is working as a chef at the Astra Marriott Hotel. His oldest son has moved to a new apartment for his senior year at Oregon State. And finally, his wife Amy, has started a new business and has moved in down the hall from him in the Salem office building. Even with all the moving, Eric and Amy were able to take their camper over to Bend for a week of relaxing camping, hiking, and just a great vacation time. More adventures await!
Larry and Laurie had an incredibly busy summer. Larry’s mom & dad both celebrated their 90th birthdays and 70th wedding anniversary this year. It was a great party and the entire immediate Hanslits family was able to attend. Laurie’s band, The Capitols, performed at the party and earlier this summer they also played at The Grand Theatre for “Make Music Day” and at Illahe Hills Country Club for “Music on the Lawn.” Best of all, Larry and Laurie welcomed the arrival of their newest grandson, Lex Mathias Hanslits. Lex was born on May 1st to Eric and Ivy Hanslits.
