I started working in the mutual fund management industry in 1998.  I liked that I could help improve people’s lives through their finances, but wanted to have a more direct and personal impact.  In 1999, I started training at the University of California, Davis in their Certified Financial Planner training program.  This career path was one that would allow me to help people achieve their personal goals.  I was recruited by a nationally known financial planning firm in early 2000 and was promoted to training manager before the end of 2000.  I obtained my Certified Financial Planner^TM   designation in the spring of 2003.  After spending several years in an agency capacity, I became an independent advisor in 2009. 

I enjoy working with active people who see their money as a means to do more with their lives.  Whether you are involved in sports, like to travel, or are an involved grandparent, I want to help make the things that are important to you financially possible.  I want to work with people who value a trusting relationship with a knowledgeable advisor. 

As a three time Ironman triathlon finisher, I enjoy living a multisport lifestyle, encouraging others to be active, and taking a healthy approach to work and life. 

I currently live in Northern California with my wife, Debbie, and two wonderful children.
